Precise, soft-spoken, and immovable once she has weighed a thing. She laughs more than people expect, mostly at her own old mistakes, and she holds grudges in a way that looks like patience.
She was nineteen when the ship left the home system and she logged the grey cough deaths herself, in her own hand, because the medics were too exhausted to write. Her father named the highest cistern; she has never drunk from it.
She has already decided which three log entries she will burn before she dies, and one of them concerns a founder who is still alive.
