Deep Structure Maintenance Technician / Specialist — first generation, age 27
Kai is perpetually covered in trace amounts of oil and metallic dust; he is highly skilled but profoundly anti-social. He views the people of the Waypoint as a complication to the physics of the ship.
Hired for his specialized knowledge of high-pressure conduit systems, Kai spends most of his time near the plasma conduit junction, working in the humid, industrial back-ways. He rarely interacts with the settled areas.
He discovers a structural weakness that, if utilized, would allow a small, non-standard bypass into the restricted cryo-sleeper wing.
