Educator / Librarian Assistant — second generation, age 23
Bright and intensely organized, Maya prefers the company of obsolete circuit diagrams to living conversations. She speaks in footnotes and cross-references, even when discussing dinner plans.
She spent years digitizing the Corner Bookshelf's massive, unstable inventory. Her knowledge of pre-collapse academic history is far more advanced than her understanding of basic electrical repair.
She found a blank journal among the manuals that seems to detail the ship's original departure route, not the current one.
